Duplicate Quotes and Orders

When you activate a quote, order or invoice, it goes read only, and in order to make changes you have to 'revise' it.

While it may seem that this is simply a reactivation of the quote it in fact has cloned the quote.

This seems obvious but the implications are that when you now do an advanced search or report on quotes etc, unless you specify the 'active' states of the record, it will list all versions, and this will be seen by many clients as a duplicate.

When reporting or searching, excluding records with a status reason of 'revised' will get rid of these.

You also need to be aware of quotes which have been won if also counting orders etc.
